Team Fundraising makes a big difference

Over £200,000 has been raised by the Coracle World Championships

Galliers Homes, winners of the Richard Bayliss Trophy for 2018, raised over an amazing £6,000 for Macmillan on the dedicated Just Giving World Coracle Championships page.

We ask that all teams who enter the Coracle World Championships try to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

When you register your Race Team on the Official Macmillan Coracle Registration page (hit the button below) you will be given your very own Fundraising page which you can brand, for example, with a company logo or your team graphic.

Macmillan will be on hand to give you advice on your Fundraising efforts and you'll always have a secure place to send people who wish to support your Race Team.

Also, through this method any Fundraising will qualify for Gift Aid!

The Macmillan website also offer fundraising tips and tools. Hit the button below to visit the page.

The Richard Bayliss Trophy is awarded annually to the team that raises the most money for this wonderful Charity. The Trophy depicts a traditional coracler and his coracle!

Richard Bayliss created The Coracle World Championships ten years ago and sadly lost his own battle against Cancer last year. Winning this trophy is recognition for the team that goes the extra mile raising money to help finance Macmillan Cancer Support here in Shropshire a fantastic charity doing amazing things here in our own community.

We hope that none of us will ever need their help but it is very comforting that they are there to support us should we ever need them.
